What would you recommend to others who want to be fit and healthy?

Being “fit” is not about fitting into a certain size of clothing, the number on the scale, or the amount of abs you have. Being “fit” is about being healthy, happy, strong (mentally and physically), and confident above anything else. Your journey is for YOU and YOU only. Strive to be the greatest version of yourself and dont let anyone stand in your way.

How does fitness positively influence your life?

My fitness journey began after I battled a severe intestinal infection that caused my weight to drop dangerously low and didn’t allow me to attend school or work for months. Fitness has allowed me to improve my health (both physical & mental) as well as my self confidence. It also gave me an outlet to help change the lives of others which is my ultimate goal. I recently graduated with a Fitness specialist degree and am pursuing a job in personal training with the goal of helping others

If you were the next Ms Health and Fitness, what would you do with $20,000?

If I were to receive the $20,000 I would passionately continue to pursue my education in this field as well as use these resources to help others in their own health and fitness journey. These days, healthy foods are not as easily accessible for a reasonable price but I would love to start up my own business to change that. Everyone deserves access to quality food, it is a basic human right.
